Our Story
From the Military to the Road
Black Knight Transportation was born from a simple belief: the discipline, precision, and commitment forged in military service should carry over into everything we do.
Co-Owner, President
Chuck Pursh
Chuck is an accomplished business leader and military veteran who brings over 35 years of financial service expertise and disciplined leadership to Black Knight Transportation. He recently retired as a Managing Director from JPMorgan Chase where he held numerous executive level positions during his 28 years of service. He is a retired Army Major, an airborne ranger qualified officer, who served honorably for 20 years in the Army National Guard. Today, he remains deeply committed to "those who served" by volunteering on advisory boards and supporting veteran and first-responder initiatives. Chuck holds a Bachelor's degree in Business & Economics and a Master's degree in Business Administration.

Josh Alm
Josh has spent his career moving things on time for a living — supply chain and logistics roles at DHL Supply Chain, Cardinal Health, and Abbott Nutrition, backed by a degree in Operations and Supply Chain Management from Franklin University. Alongside that, he spent eight years as an Uber Black chauffeur in Columbus, building a private client base one ride at a time. He knows the difference between a car that arrives and a chauffeur who anticipates. Black Knight exists because those two skill sets belong in the same business.
